ATX Recovery Management, LLC, provides recovery management services for individuals enrolled in the Home and Community Based Services – Adult Mental Health program. The HCBS-AMH program helps individuals with serious mental illness to live successfully in the community. The program offers participants a broad array of services for as long as they need them, including housing, transportation, nursing, and recovery management.

Recovery Management differs from typical case management in that Recovery Managers work with only a few clients, so that they can dedicate enough time to each individual to meet their needs successfully.

Job duties include:

  • Work with clients to identify their goals, strengths, needs, and priorities
  • Monitor the health, welfare, and safety of your clients through regular contacts
  • Respond to emergency situations and ensure that appropriate actions are taken
  • Coordinate with clients, family members, and other service providers
  • Advocate for access to resources and continuity of services
  • Assess adequacy of service provision and address shortfalls or barriers
  • Identify changes in your clients’ situations or needs

Job Requirements include:

  • A master’s degree in human services or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with people with serious mental illness
  • Ability to make home visits within Travis County or Bexar County
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to take initiative and to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and find creative solutions
  • Ability to earn trust, be accountable, and meet commitments
